Information on Beaulieu-sur-Mer

Location: Cote d’Azur, 5 kms. from Nice, 8 kms from Monaco

Beaulieu-sur-Mer (trans. “beautiful place by the sea”) is a picturesque town surrounded by mountains on the Cote d’Azur in the South of France. It is located between Nice and Monaco and is a short train and bus ride from both. There are two beaches and marinas to choose from. Walking is a pleasure as there are many pathways along the coast. It is also great for joggers. Neighbouring towns like St. Jean Cap Ferrat and Ville Franche are within easy walking distance.

You are guaranteed a peaceful and restful stay.

There is a great variety of shops close by and there is also a street market selling fresh fruit, vegetables and fish every day. On Saturdays they sell clothing, housewares and souvenirs.

Food: Beaulieu is an epicure’s delight offering many excellent restaurants and coffee shops serving a wide variety of food at reasonable prices. Most house wines are very palatable.

The Apartment:

252, Le Bonaparte, 24, Blv’d Marechal Joffre, is a recently refurbished one bedroom apartment on the 4th Floor of a well-maintained block offering spectacular views of the coastline and the mountains.
With Italian marble floors throughout and air-conditioning in both the lounge and bedroom it is cool on the hottest days. There is also central heating for the cooler days and nights.
The kitchen appliances include a gas hob and electric oven, a washing machine, a fridge/freezer, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, a toaster, a coffee-maker, and everything down to the salt and pepper mills.
For your entertainment, there is an LCD flat-screen TV, a DVD player with a selection of DVDs, a music system with CDs and an alarm clock radio.

Garage: There is an underground garage for car parking, which is accessible by remote control.
